Hi all! My name is Aindri H. Patra, and I am currently a college student. Ever since I took my first art class at three years old, after coming home covered in orange paint, I was hooked. I enjoy everything from oil painting to sketching, although my favorite medium to work with is pen and ink.  

       Art helps me relax and re-energizes me. To me, art was something I could do as self-expression. The freedom that painting offered me, the ability to transform an empty canvas into something I created entirely gave me a sense of achievement, fulfillment, and satisfaction that I never had before. As a grew older and my interest in the sciences grew, especially in neuroscience and the brain, I became even more fascinated by the connection between these two fields, by the interdisciplinary nature of the sciences and the arts. 

      Through art, I hope to reach people across every boundary. As they say –- art is the language of expression across communities, cultures and countries!
